Trademark Art James Wiens 'Spring Beautiful Crop' Gallery Wrapped Canvas Art

Description

James is dedicated to his wife, children, and close-knit extended family. James studied at the Emily Carr college of art & design in Vancouver, earning a diploma in printmaking and painting. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. James has applied the work ethic he gained on his family farm to his 30 year career as a professional artist. James Wiens is an avid lifelong outdoorsman, having grown up and settled in British Columbia surrounded by dramatic mountains and Rivers. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. His artwork, primarily oil painting, reflects his love of nature and landscapes. The result is wide acceptance of giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features white flowers painted over a grey-blue background. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. The attainable excellence that giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features white flowers painted over a grey-blue background.
